  1. You have to be careful on Craigslist. Tips:
    1) If it's too good to be true, Run! Lots of scammers. Be really careful if it seems to good to be true.
    2) You are going to have to vet car sellers. Make sure title is clear, etc.
    3) Ask questions.
    4) There are no reputation scores on craigslist. So be careful!

  8. I have encountered a great many "dead beat" sellers on Craigslist. Such ignoble sellers are totally inconsiderate about follow-through thus leaving their add up running long after the item is sold. This effectuates to waste the time of sincere others , frustrates the purchasing process and wastes space on the listing pages. I am a daily shopper thus am reluctant to waste precious time on dead-ended listings which are entirely the result of lazy disrespectful sellers who simply ruin an otherwise great resource and for nothing gained by anyone. How often? More than should be tolerated. If you pulled that nonsense on E Bay, you would be expelled. Respectfully W

  9. I will only sell an item to anyone who will come in person to pick up and pay for the item in CASH. Anyone wanting to send you a cashiers check or a money order do not even reply, they are up to no good. I have had incredible results selling items on craigslist, take good pictures and full description of your items.

  11. I have used craigslist many times through the years buying and selling. With your new format I have been unable to even log in, even though I have followed all the prompts to do so. Then I was prompted to a site to help me log on, they wanted my credit card. Im wondering if craigslist is now a scam site.

  12. I've used Craigs List and never had a problem. I've sold a few things and have to be careful when the buyer comes to the home. I make sure the pick up is during daylight, preferably on the weekend, and my husband is home.
